Description

A delightful snack combining crispy fried olives filled with creamy pimento cheese, perfect for gatherings or a tasty treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pimento cheese
  • 1 jar green olives, pitted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Stuff the olives with pimento cheese using a small spoon or piping bag.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls.
  3. Bread the olives by dredging in flour, dipping in eggs, and rolling in breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, about half an inch deep.
  5. Fry the olives in small batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  7. Season with salt and pepper while hot.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat them in the oven or air fryer to restore crispiness.
